Dinner Menu for Economy

By using differentiation strategies, students were allowed to demonstrate their understanding of our Economy Unit by putting their artifacts as a Dinner Menu. Students were required to do a Starter, Entree, two Side dishes and a Dessert (optional). Students had fun and they learned alot!

Government Posters: Hall of Fame

Want to learn about the different types of Government? My students can show and tell you! Students created posters on one of the Government type of their choice. Students understand there are two ways of looking at Governments: Distribution of power and citizen participation. Students also understand there are two types of Democracy: Parliamentary and Presidential. One student even compared the three types of Governments in Latin America.

*Please note there are two pages*

The Indigenous and the Spanish Conquistadors!

Students created Bio-poems on Montezuma, Atahualpa, Cortez, Pizarro, Aztec and Inca by using letters of the person or people they decided to investigate. More writing, more research, more creativity and more knowledge!
