My name is Kimberly Bryant.  I am an educator of 10 years and a graduate of Mercer University.  I’m very interested in positions available at your school in Middle Grades Social Studies, Reading and Language Arts.  I have a clear renewable teaching certificate/license in Middle Grades Social Studies and Language Arts.  I am also certified in Reading  from grades PK to 12 and in gifted education.  Since I began my teaching career, I have had experience teaching in kindergarten and 5th grade as paraprofessional, 7th grade language arts and social studies, as well as 6th grade social studies, and gained certification in gifted education. 

 

Since entering in the teaching profession,  I have worked with a diverse student population and have gained experience in preparing RTI reports, collecting STAR test data and Georgia Online Assessment data for progress monitoring.  I have been trained in Common Core Standards implementation and have used a textbook created by College Board called Springboard, which blends Common Core standards into exploratory learning, and various reading programs.

 

As an educator, it is my goal to bring personality, life, and most of all, learning to the classroom.  I want to foster an environment where every child feels like they can be themselves.  I thoroughly believe that this will establish the foundation of learning and help to build a healthy student/teacher relationship with my students and allow them to focus on learning and their personal educational goals.  If bestowed the opportunity, I will bring charisma, compassion, and enthusiasm to your institution.  Thank you so much for reading.  I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience!
